Hello There!

Brief Overview on my Maker/Designer/Builder/Artist/Engineer Journey

Growing up on a Row Crop (Corn/Bean) & Tree farm in southern Ohio, I was exposed to the art of building, fixing, and working in a well-equipped workshop from a very young age. This is where I acquired the skills of operating a drill press, band saw, Mig Welder, Planer, Jointer, Router, Acetylene torch, and various other tools. At the time, I didn't fully appreciate it, but I discovered a genuine enjoyment in creating unique, one-of-a-kind projects in the workshop. After completing my electrical engineering degree at Purdue University, I embarked on a career in automotive engineering. While my professional journey in engineering has been fulfilling, I've maintained a steadfast passion for hands-on craftsmanship in my personal workshop. The ability to design, build, and bring ideas to life is something I not only want to share with my children but also with you.

The act of building and creating has a profound impact on individuals and families alike. It not only instills a sense of accomplishment but also nurtures resilience, creativity, and problem-solving skills. In today's fast-paced world, where technology dominates our daily lives, I firmly believe in the importance of reconnecting with traditional crafts and experiencing the gratification that stems from crafting something tangible. This is why I am deeply passionate about inspiring others to embark on their dream projects and embrace woodworking and other DIY pursuits.
